Power Meter L/R Balance only showing on head unit
AnsweredI have a Karoo 2, and am using a dual-sided 4iiii crank based power meter. I have the head unit display set to show L/R balance when riding, and it does. However, when exporting the .fit file from the Dashboard, and then importing it to a site that I know shows pedal balance data (rouvy.com, and I know because I saw that data there when recorded by my previous head unit (not a Karoo)) it does not show up.
I have seen other posts about L/R balance missing from the fit file, so not sure if this is the same issue. If it is, what is the plan for addressing this in a future release? If this is user error, what am I doing wrong?

@Johan: Thank you for sharing your experience. The Karoo does record the L/R pedal data on the FIT files. Certain FIT file data such as the L/R values would not be read by other platforms due to a difference in Format between the two platforms. Gramin Connect is one such platform that does not display these metrics when the ride is recorded on Karoo 2. You can upload the FIT file of the ride to platforms like Golden Cheetah and DCR analyzer to view these metrics.
If you are not able to view the L/R balance on the DCR analyzer, Golden Cheetah, or TrainingPeaks, please share the FIT file of the ride at support@hammerhead.io and mention my name on the email description. I am happy to look into this further.
