@Spencer: I appreciate you sharing your experience and your use case. This is certainly a good enhancement for us to make. I have added your vote for this feature request while forwarding it to the Product team.

Voted for this. I was looking here to see if there was a way to get my Karoo loaded up with the route for the bike section, before I head out for the Swim, to minimise time & hassle (and risk of getting it wrong in a hurry) in T1.

Yes, there absolutely should be a way to adjust or disable this new feature if users want. It makes me wary of upgrading my Karoo in future due to changes I may not like & can't remove.

My triathlons for this year begin in 2 weeks. Looks like I'll need to use my Garmin instead of my Karoo2 for the bike leg.

One thought @Kevin Lewis - if you don't care about the elapsed time, you could "start" your ride on the Karoo2 and then immediately pause it when you leave your bike at the transition zone. Then it should not auto shut off (I think), and it should be a simple one-button press when you get to your bike to start the timer.

Unless you're doing an ironman (or even maybe a half) - I imagine this won't hurt battery too much that the K2 will die on your ride.
