Option to lock Karoo screen

On a ride or at an event, sometimes I take the Karoo off my bike for safekeeping.  I can push the power button to turn off the screen.  But often the buttons are accidentally pressed as I'm walking around.  Sometimes it ends the ride or does other stuff I don't want.

It would be nice to have a lock option that turns off the screen and locks the buttons.  You could unlock by pressing the power button and then pushing two of the buttons at the same time (or something like that).

  Same annoying behavior for me - taking off the Karoo during a ride pause (cafe or shop or ...), putting it in a pocket or bag, only to discover after the pause that the side buttons were accidentally pushed and ended the ride, or did some other stupid stuff.

  A year ago or so, there was an option added to disable the side buttons while NOT riding when the screen is off. This should also be possible to do WHILE riding and the screen is off or while the ride is paused etc.. huge missing feature.

  I power the HH off. After the break i'll power the HH on and pusch resume ride ....

  @Eric - Yeah, I have done that.  Just annoying when you have a short stop.  But it does work.

  Would be great if the power buttons locks touch and side buttons at a coffee stop. Had to stich a few rides because of unintended finishing at a coffee stop. 

  Would also like to dismiss the radar alarm so people around me dont get a heat attack every time the alarm goes.
