Karoo 3 + igsport sr mini

I just bought hammerhead karoo 3 with the latest software and igsport sr 3 mini radar/light updated to the latest firmware. The problem is that karoo 3 sees it as radar but not a light. Radar is working fine but I have no option to control light? Why is that?
