Hi Gerald, this has been reported that the speed reading fluctuates a lot during the climb which impacts the grade calculation. Do you use the speed sensors or the GPS-derived speed data?

Gerald, do you see fluctuations on speed tracking too? Also, is your avg. speed too low on these climbs? Could you please share the FIT file of one of your affected rides with us in an email to support@hammerhead.io?

I am encountering this issue too, for the past 4 or 5 weeks.

The current grade % display fluctuates wildly, for example when climbing it can show 20% when on a 5% grade, when descending can show -20% on a -3% descent.

In addition I am seeing very high Total Ascent values for the ride, up to 50% or 60% more ascent than reality i.e. real ascent of 600m will be 1400m on the head unit.

I am also seeing the time of day (top right corner) get stuck, i.e. I rode from 08:35 until 10:30 and the time of day was stuck on 09:20.

Prior to recent rides I have manually reset the current elevation, which had no effect.

will someone write how the problem with the fluctuation of the slope was solved?

Another one here. It started like a month or two ago, can't pinpoint the triggers. It's start randomly fluctuate wildly to insane extremes, like between -20% and +60% (I wish I could ride on those grades, though) and also elevation gain is all bonkers when this happen. Eventually it stabilizes.
The only thing that changed recently is that I've mounted a SIM card. Will remove it and see if it still happens.

It looks like it didn't happen again once I've removed SIM card. So far. I have a gut feeling that SIM card/data communication could be causing interference with pressure(?) sensor.
