Crash on Saving Ride - Lost Activity?

I was recording a long 1000km ride over three days. Once I finished, the Saving Ride dialogue froze, and the Hammerhead stopped responding to any input. I kept it running for over an hour, hoping for a solution, but then I hard rebooted the devices. After restarting, my ride seems to have been lost. In the overview, I see an entry with the total kilometers, ride time, and ascent. When I open the ride, it states “Activity not found” with no ride data. Downloading the fit file also doesn’t work; it says “No fit file found.” Is my ride lost? That would be a major disappointment.

  Hi!

  One solution would be to connect the Karoo to a PC. With Windows explorer look for the fit files.

  If the file is there but corrupt you can try with some online tools to repair or save it as other extension.

  Thank you, Claudiu. At the moment I’m traveling without a PC. I guess it’s the only option to try when back at home.

  Anyway I’m a bit curious how something like this can happen. Anyone from Hammerhead reading this whit ideas to track down what happened?
