Karoo 2 does not start and gets very hot when charging

After owning Karoo 2 for 4 years without problem it suddenly does not start up. It gets very hot when I charge it with the supplied cable and usb a wall charger. Nothing seems to work. Please help.

  Hi, I had the same thing with my Karoo 1, and I tried everything too, but nobody could help me. I tried installing a new battery (not from HH), but unfortunately, it turned out to be a component on the motherboard causing the extreme heat, and that couldn't be replaced either, regrettable but true. That was regarding my Karoo 1. I've had a Karoo 3 for a while now and am satisfied. Regards, Willy Cras
