Ride corruption
My karoo 2 rebooted about an hour into the ride when i manually paused it. When it restarted, the progress of the ride I already made was corrupted, the time was about 15 min shorter, and the gps route looked like basically a straight line from my starting point to current point. I went to reload the route i was using to continue the ride but the route I had downloaded for that day had been uninstalled. I attempted to manually export the ride file from the device but since it was incomplete and I was not able to find it.
Will this continue to happen? i see that it is on teh list of known issues but did I do something that I can avoid so this doesnt happen again?

I had one of these recently as well, though it may have been due to user error (made a quick stop and leaned the bike at the stem against a bus shelter so that it may have ended up pressing the bottom right button). The recovered ride did contain the first ~35 min from the start and then an hour-long gap in the middle appearing as a straight line. I had to edit the fit file to remove the middle part to get Strava and Xert to accept the activity.
I appreciate that there is an auto-save function for continuing rides when something like this, but certainly an hour or even 15 mins is too long an interval, something like 5 mins I could certainly live with. And having to edit the file manually seems a bit unnecessary as well.
