No rides and routes in companion app while offline

If i am in the wilderness without internet access (or eg Switzerland without roaming) and without wifi, it is not possible that companion app shows my saved routes. That is ridiculous. Due to that, i can not put new routes in that situations on the karoo 3. What do the Developer think about their user? That they ride only 2 hours on sunday afternoon in the city park near their houses wifi zone?

  Surely the app and the unit have the same saved routes, so if the app didn't load due to data access, the routes would still be available on the karoo itself? Apologies if i have misread your point.

  You have access to your created and saved routes and rides on the hammerhead companion app, while the app is offline (no network, no wifi, in the desert e.g.)?
  I do not have. And this means, i cannot put routes on my karoo, which i planned in the app hours before, while online.

  The big issue is, the app has access to saved routes only with internetaccess.

  I think I’d be the same if offline. But I start most rides from my house which is online. I guess the solution is to have the Karoo unit with you when planning a new route and online. Then everything should refresh and if you are offline when you want to load the route it will be on the Karoo.

  Not sure garmin or wahoo would be any different if you wanted to load a route from your library but offline.

  But it would be better to have it your way, for sure.
