POI prompt alert on turn ny turn drawer

I try to set Up the turn-by-turn drawer so when I pass close to a POI (Route POI o global POI), the drawer prompts, warning me that I have reached this Point. To do so, i have the option "POI Cuesta" swiched on. However, it doesnt happen, si the only way to be aware that I have reached the POI is yo watch It directly on the map.

  I think it will only alert you for POIs that are *directly* on the route, at least that's my experience.

  I've implemented POI approach alerts in my route graph extension (available from the extension library), where you can set a custom remaining distance at which it should alert you to the upcoming POI. It also features a datafield that shows the upcoming POIs on a route profile, as back when I wrote the extension, the POI distances were not yet featured in the TBT drawer and I wanted to have them shown on a data page.
