HX DataSynch Alert after FW update THEN GPS trouble
-
Update: This could be a coincidence, but this morning i had the first ever GPS fail of my K3. First ride after FW update. Rode for about an hour and all was fine. Then looked down, whilst moving, to see zero speed (without an auto-pause). Distance stopped. Sensor readings (HR, PM, Di2) all connected and moved up/down as expected. Map froze to where the GPS went out. This is Central London, so i don't expect it to be a bad coverage zone (if such a thing even exist!).
Turned it off / on and went for a test ride an hour later - and all was fine. Then another 5 min ride just said "acquiring GPS" for the time. Another off / reboot and another ride had GPS straight away. This is odd.
Thoughts?

Today I tried to replicate the GPS failure I had with the Karoo. Same route—mountains, forest, and open terrain (Gravel Tour)—covering a little over 100 km. Today, the Karoo worked flawlessly, with no errors or outages.
Strange—maybe there were problems with the satellites yesterday 🥳 -
Yesterday I received another reply from the support team ..-
Hello,
We have received multiple reports of GPS-related issues, and our developers were notified late yesterday of a potential issue. Thank you for your report and for bringing this issue to our attention!
The team put a fix in place a short while ago that should resolve the issue. Changes will take place the next time the device boots with an internet connection (Wi-Fi or Companion App/smartphone) so it can check in with our servers. If your device is powered on, it needs to be powered off and back on.
Sorry for any inconvenience! Please let us know if you continue to have issues. Replies may be delayed since normal business hours are Monday-Friday.
Best,
Jami
