The lack of this feature is the major deal breaker for me at the moment (along with 2 less critical ones). My question at this time is related to the process for adding this feature. Since the Karoo 2 already has an accelerometer, would you be enabling this feature as an OS update or would it require karoo 2 owners to purchase / upgrade yet another unit? Also, why do I see almost no post activity since several months (or years) ago? Thanks for any response on this.

Hi Jeff, the request has been raised by the community and we do have it on our backlog. At this time, there has been no research on this feature so it's difficult to say whether it will be an OS update or the Hardware update. We did look into third-party sensors that we can leverage to bring this on the Karoo, but this has not materialized enough for us to start working on it. Our focus on the current quater has been SRAM AXS integrations, profile update, dasboard ride review.

Just adding my sincere wish for this also. I see it has been asked in many posts going back 3 years, so bit disappointing that "there has been no research on this feature", let alone actual development :( I ride by myself a LOT. Love my new K2, but it is a real problem that I may need another device like a garmin watch just for this one critical safety feature.
