Feature Request: POIs along route navigation

I run a lot of organized rides, and I put POIs along my routes for bathrooms and food stops. The POIs are generally right on the route, or very nearby, so I don't really need the "navigation" feature that POIs give you now. Instead, what I want to know is how FAR each POI is WHILE FOLLOWING THE ROUTE. Today, the navigate to POI, it generally takes the shortest route available, which usually doesn't give me a good idea of distance along my route.
So, when I'm already navigating on a route, and I tap on a POI, I want it to give two options - "navigate shortest distance", or "navigate along route". If the POI isn't right on the route, it should add the little spur to it from the route.
This would give me a lot better info to tell my riders how far a bathroom or food stop will be from our current location. Would also be helpful if this didn't completely take over the route navigation - I basically want a separate little data display that says "You have 9.8mi to POI", and keep the "65mi left in route" one too.

Update: Any Pins along your route will now appear in your Cue sheet, making it easy to see how far you are from a rest stop, feed zone, road hazard, or anything else you want to add as a Pin.

So, the most recent update ALMOST gets it. The issue now is that the POIs only show distance from the point in the list immediately before them - e.g. if I'm 10mi from the lunch stop, but I have 2 more turns to make, then the list would show:
2mi - Turn left
5mi - Turn right
3mi - LUNCH STOP
What would be helpful is for POIs to show distance from current location, not distance from previous TBT direction, since I am trying to figure out how much further before we get to that point. As currently implemented, I basically have to mentally add up all of the distances before that stop, and they're often in different UoMs, so it's basically useless info unless I happen to be on a very long road with no turns before my POI.
These are already set apart from the regular TBT because they're gray and have a different icon, so I don't think it'd be confusing to leave them in the list like you have now. I just want their distance calculation to work like Climber does - it tells me I have a climb coming up in 20mi, regardless of the fact that I have 10 turns to make before that.
EXAMPLE OF WHAT I'D LIKE TO SEE if I'm 10mi from the lunch stop:
2mi - Turn left
5mi - Turn right
10mi - LUNCH STOP
1mi - turn left
etc. -
This feature I crave so much. It helps a lot while long rides.

I see Hammerhead took direction to develop road cycling functions last couple of updates. Its a pity the touristic domain rest in the shadow 😐. I purchased Karoo 2 because of great touristic/navigation capabilities.
