At least it's not just me - no consolation for you though Nick :-) Difficult to imagine it's just us two with the problem, frustrating that more people aren't mentioning it.

Yup. Had this happen a few times now, created a Support thread back when I first had a dropout- zero response.

What is even more annoying to me is not being able to generate a route on the device, while at home connected to wifi.

Apparently no route generation inside as there is no GPS coverage. Can't believe more people aren't complaining about this.

I've come across a few complaints of no response to support threads, you'd think out of courtesy Hammerhead would reply on the thread even if it's just to confirm they're reading them. The more I look into these threads the more issues become apparent, many of which don't seem to be being addressed.

A lack of response to most threads seems to be the Hammerhead support team's main way of operating. I have noticed that they respond quickly to issues that they are already working on or are about to announce in an update, but no replies to 'in the too hard basket' sections.

@Steve MacMillan It's a bit disheartening. Feels like we're part of a beta testing programme which I guess is probably a fair assessment.

There's plenty about the unit that I like, and for my usage the bugs are pretty minor, but you have to feel for the users who rely on the (many) buggy and unreliable functions. As you say, they seem to have a bug priority list, and for many of those they've either decided not to invest time fixing them or maybe they can't fix them.

Agreed. Even when there is a response, it doesn't always make sense. When I reported the "no internet connection" message I'm getting when trying to set up a route at home, I was told I should go outside because GPS connection is not available indoors.

This is like complaining to Apple about being unable to make calls indoors and getting advice that you should go out for it to work even though you are connected to the internet.

That's practically Kafkaesque. I'd say they had some AI bot answering support threads but if they did the replies would probably make more sense!
