Source of data for upcoming elevation
AnsweredHello,
Today I've been following a route that was synced from komoot with the Karoo 2 (firmware up to date). While the upcoming elevation graph usuall worked with routes like this, today it just showed a zero line. Following the route worked well as usual and even climber worked.
So I'm curently puzzled where Karoo 2 gets the data for the upcoming elevation graph from? Was this information maybe missing in the track synced from komoot? But then the question is why the Karoo 2 doesn't use the data points from the downloaded maps (as it obviously did for climber)? Or did I by chance run into a bug?
Best regards,
Sven

Hi Sven, we have not heard of this issue so I am unable to comment anything on it straight away. Do you have an image captured from the Karoo screen that describes what it looked like real time? The data source is the Dashboard maps, and not Komoot after it has synced with Karoo. You can also share the GPX file of this route with us in an email to support@hammerhead.io, and point out the location where the problem is expected to appear so we know what we are looking for. Thanks
