Sync heart rate data with Strava

Hi community / Team Hammerhead,

I am planning to purchase the Hammerhead Heart Rate Sensor to extend collected data during my rides. Afterwards, I'd like to sync the rides automatically to Strava - so far so good.

My question is, will the heart rate data collected during the ride also be synced? Because if not, I would not go for the heart rate monitor as I then prefer to track my rides (as in the past) with my Apple Watch. There the sync of heart rate data works even if you track the workout not in the Strava app (Apple Activities App with a sync to Strava afterwards).

  I'm not able to comment specifically on the hammerhead hr strap but i use a wahoo strap with my karoo2 and the hr data uploads without problems to strava so i would assume the hammerhead strap will

  Yes, you will be able to record your heart rate data for the ride in the FIT file. Here is an article to give you more detailed information on Karoo 2 - Hammerhead Heart Rate Monitor.

  The ride will automatically be uploaded to Strava - Karoo 2 - Auto Upload to Third-Party websites

  The watch will not be required, but it can be used as a backup recording device if necessary.
