Calculating Average speed

The Average speed calculation is very missleading being based on the total journey time. It should be re calabrated to take off the auto pauase time and thus leave the avearage moving time. Thats what all other competitor systems do.

  Are you sure that the auto-pause time is included in the avg speed? I don't think it is, although last time I really checked this is a while back...

  The avg speed does not include the auto-pause time (99% sure)

  Bob, is it possible that the auto-pause wasn't actually working during your ride? That's what happened to me on the last longer ride. We were running a decent average (for our weak legs) and suddenly after a coffee break it dropped off a cliff. Took me a while to notice the device was not actually auto-pausing for whatever reason...
