Corrupt Fit File
AnsweredToday I started my Karoo 2 with a route and then spent 20 minutes with my group before starting the ride. Everything seemed fine, sensors and route all fine. Test ride in parking lot fine. As soon as I started out of the parking lot, the Karoo restarted. When it came back it asked if I wanted to resume the ride. I said yes. Everything was normal for the 3 hour ride plus a 1 hour pause for lunch. When I finished, the ride was visible on the Karoo and synced to my dashboard (I have a sim). When I try to view the ride on the web dashboard it says "other error" and shows a blank map. The Karoo does display a map though. The Karoo does not sync to Strava correctly. The dashboard does not sync to Strava. If I download the fit file and view it on my computer, there is no map. The fields are all messed up. I can't upload this file to Strava.
This is in addition to the frequent reboots during my rides which do not resume the ride in progress. In these cases the first part of the ride is lost but the remainder of the ride is recorded and uploaded correctly.
I've had my Karoo 2 for 16 months and only very recently been having these problems. I've resorted to recording my rides with my phone as a backup. This is not ideal.

Hi Joe, we are actively working on this case as highest priority. Karoo rebooting on its own is not pleasant for us to hear as well. We are working with Charles on this case, so if you could please provide us the details of your ride in an email to us support@hammerhead.io, it would really be helpful.
