Removal of Di2 integration. Refund please.
A number of posts here defending Hammerhead and blaming Shimano for the removal of Di2 integration. Unfortunately, as a consumer, it's not my problem who's to blame.
I don't have a contract with Shimano, one was formed with the supplier when I bought my device.
The simple question is, now that functionality has been removed from my device, if I were so inclined, how would I get a refund?

I use almost all of Garmin's features, plus I get a lot of use out of the IQ plugins. I consider myself a "Freak" of technology and sports, and although Karoo does the basic and not so basic by far, the ability to customize fields, font sizes (DIY IQ), wind plugins, light management, remote control , etc... for me they are very important. The only thing I find fault with Garmin is its screen on cloudy days or in the woods and the navigation and recalculation of routes that leaves something to be desired (I now carry my mobile phone with quarter-turn support and depending on the circumstances to look for gas stations, coffee shops , accommodation, addresses) because I have no choice but to pull it. Even to plot a route between 2 towns, I don't trust Garmin, and before I compare it with google, komoot and other apps. Now due to the loss of Di2, I will continue to keep Garmin safe until further notice.... :(

Would be cool, if sideloading would be working.. BUT: would this mean you need to exit the current profile while riding and opening a different app to see the data like battery status and gears? This would be fine.. as I only would need battery. But could this still enable the function of the hood buttons?
Thanks

In the same way that Garmin firmwares are patched to allow loading of unsigned maps, internally the latest firmware compatible with Di2 should be filtered, "reverse engineered" or something similar, and then the new firmware should be patched with this module. And that it worked as always but with the addition of new firmwares...Of course, for this, the security of the firmware would have to be violated, to have some crack/hacker, who could do it... and Karoo would turn a blind eye to those users who patched the firmware for this function...I still think it's a very big loss. That Shimano allows all other manufacturers to use di2 except Karoo. It's a low blowlooks very badThe solution of not buying anything Shimano, because in this world where there is no choice, is not very possible either.
