Navigate to pin stuck on "Preparing route"

Since I bought Karoo 2 I did not use that feature so it is hard to say if it was like that since the beginning. I am unable to use the "navigate to pin" feature. As soon as I select the point on the map Karoo 2 is stuck on the "Preparing route". I can still use the device, but route preparation never finishes (left it like that for an hour with no result). I was connected to a WiFi network and had my connection to GPS. I have my local offline maps downloaded and I tried multiple distances to the pin (the shortest one was around 100m away from my current location).

Is that a known issue? Can you help me with that topic?

  Hi All,

  We've fixed the issue where "Preparing route" error stays from the start on the ride till the end of the route.

  Similar issue - but when selecting a route from the route list - it gets stuck on 'preparing route'.  Seems to happen more with routes sync'd from Strava.  Hasn't happened yet with routes created on the Hammerhead dashboard.

  I am having the same issue with both routes planned with Strava and starred and routes planned with Strava, exported and then uploaded as either tcx or gpx.

  I have the same issue but with routes created in the dashboard! But I saw the problem today for the first time so its maybe since a update from aug-sep (eg reverse route) on. Before that it worked for me.
