Two ride files or dashboard. How do i merge them?

Are there any plans to introduce a tool to enable two files from the same ride to be merged? I rode last weekend and realised my navigation wasn't active - the app had crashed. I tried removing and re-adding the route but that didn't work so had to restart the ride recording.

I now have two files from the same ride and no way to merge them on the dashboard.

Am i stuck with this or will there be (or is there) a tool to enable me to merge them on the dashboard? Doing it externally doesn't help as I store my rides on the HHDash (can't see a way to upload).

You’ll need to export the files to your desktop. Then use the tools here https://www.fitfiletools.com/#/top

Thanks - I'll look into this but how do i then get the combined file back onto the Hmhd Dashboard?
