Karoo not starting after charging

My Karoo 2 started acting up recently. After each charge, my Karoo seems to get stuck on the loading screen (hammerhead logo). I've had to go through recovery mode to get it working again. Unfortunately immediately after charging or even hanging it on the charger for a short while, the problem comes back. It's annoying that I can't just take my Karoo off and start riding. I have to go through each setup again. Downloading maps etc... Any fix possible for this problem? Thanks
