Route loading stuck on "preparing route" - Karoo2

When I start to load a route, following the steps listed in the instructions, the Karoo 2 displays "Preparing Route" on the display and will not provide turn instructions.  The route does show on the map display but no turn-by-turn instructions.  Does not seem to occur on my Karoo 1.

  Hello - is it still the case that for longer routes the turn by turn navigation does not work?

  Hello !

  Been using my new K2 for a couple of weeks and still never had the chance to try the turn-by-turn functionnality. I've been using Komoot for route planning.

  I tried deleting routes, offline maps and reloading everything. No change. The routes are 50 to 200km, not that many dots (5 to 20 max).

  I'me sad but still full of hopes, the devise is still loved !
