According to the specification, both the 1040 and the Karoo 2 have 3.5 inch screens.

I certainly don't need a bigger size, in fact I think a smaller unit like the bolt v2 would make sense as well. Smaller frames would be nice, but Garmin and Wahoo have thick frames as well.

I've had both in hand and the karoo 2 is 3.2", smaller than the Garmin's 3.5".

In some specifications I read that the Karoo's screen is 3.2" and others 3.5". I don't know if 3.5" is with frames.

I have superimposed the screen of the karoo on the 1030, with a comparative photo of both on a table maintaining proportions

I've got the Karoo1 and I'm happy with the screen size. It was also one of the reasons not to join the trade in offer.
What I would prefer to be better as the Karoo1:
    - battery life or exchangable battery
    - 5G
    - body size
The rest is fine for me.
With the end of the trade in offer (selling remaining stock?) I'm expecting the launch of Karoo3 soon.

5G doesn't make any sense. The only thing you get is to kill the battery, and there is no 5G coverage anywhere, only in the center of major cities... why do you want 5G? it contributes nothing to the karoo.

Even on my mobile I have 5G disabled...

Only to be future proof. In Germany e.g. the 3G network has been switched off

4G is the best option. price, consumption, etc.

But if it does not have a large screen and few frames, as if they put a Starlink connection
