Incorrect altitude information
AnsweredWhen the SIM card is inserted, incorrect altitude readings occur again and again!
During the recording, incorrect altitude information is recorded for a short time.
This only appears when the SIM card is inserted!
When I ride uphill, I orientate myself on meters in altitude/hour, with the wrong information this function is useless for me!
Is there a solution? Will this be fixed with an update?

This problem has existed since the Karoo 2 came out and has not been solved to this day.
This means that since the Karoo 2 existed I have had incorrect altitude information!
For correct height information, I absolutely need Strava, which can recalculate the height information, because Hammerhead Dashboard can't do that either! -
Yeah, it looks like it’s some feature of mobile networks in specific countries that is causing this. You can even see it in Michael’s screenshot above, the section starting around the halfway point that is on the Dutch side of the border has no altitude spikes at all while the German sections before and after do. So it would make sense to me to just simply stop whatever altitude (mis)calibration smartness that is going on here for those specific countries/operators/whatever only. Most of the reports seem to be coming from Germany so that would be one place to start...
