Refresh routes button on Karoo unit

Every time I want to get a new route on my Karoo, the process is as follows:

1. Create route on Strava
2. Go to dashboard.hammerhead.io
3. Login
4. Navigate to Routes page
5. Hit 'Refresh' button
6. Boot up Karoo and route appears

Could we streamline this and remove steps 2-5 just by adding a software refresh button on the Karoo unit's Routes app?

  I tend to create routes in batches and don’t even use one at all half the time, but maybe once every five times I want to use a route the process is as follows:

  1. turn Karoo on
  2. where the f is my route
  3. pick up phone and open browser
  4. open routes page
  5. hit refresh
  6. wait for the route to appear and get prepared (this does not take all that long compared to steps 2–5)
  7. (every now and then there is a bonus penalty lap (open Komoot, replan route without modifications, refresh the Hammerhead dashboard a second time) if the route is no longer among the 50 most recent on Komoot...)

  So yes, please, being able to do this directly from the Routes app would be most helpful.

  I agree, but actually it would not need any button at all. Just push the new routes as soon as they are created on any platform and as soon the Karoo is connected to Wifi/Mobile Data.

  Getting better at remembering to do the refresh thing beforehand but got caught by this one yet again today. (Started the ride from a different place than planned so didn’t even look into the list of routes until maybe 10 km into the ride and had to negotiate this mid-ride, fortunately on a deserted bike path with only mild bumps...)

  Yes, doing the refresh automatically e.g. every time the list of routes is opened and there is internet connectivity would make a lot of sense.

  9 Months later I also still run into this problem so often...But I guess HH is not reading this post; no "answered" or "planned" or any other reaction. I guess I will do a repost.
