Auto Pause
Auto pause on the Karoo 2 just isn't working how I would like it to do, and not how it used to work on the Karoo 1.
When I'm on the road I really don't notice the problem, but when off road, well it's just awful. Coming to a stop the delay for the auto pause to kick in is a minimum of five seconds, when you then move the bike, even if it is to pull it up right from leaning against a gate or even lifting it over the gate the auto pause releases, starts the clock then it seems to realise it hasn't gone anywhere and you have to wait another five seconds for the auto pause to kick in. On the first off road ride I did a quick calculation based on the number of recorded stops and a five second delay and almost seven minutes of extra time had been added to the ride time just from the delay lag (this didn't include any of the extra time from the unit thinking it was moving).
I thought the way to solve this issue would be to adjust the speed at which the auto pause kicks in from zero to three kph, and in some parts it worked, as long as I don't move the bike to quickly when pulling it up right or lifting over a gate ( it is still registering a speed), the auto pause doesn't release. But when coming to a stop it still waits till the speed is at zero before auto pause kicks in, again the five second delay.
I know this isn't the greatest of problems, but it would be nice to know if there is a solution to how sensitive the Karoo 2 is to any movement, and anyway of it being more accurate when riding off road.
Thank you in advance for any help, it will greatly appreciated.
