Time alarm

there's one thing I miss in karoo2, time alarms, it shouldn't be complicated to create a simple time alarm with a simple notification, so you can have an alarm to eat, to hydrate....

    This is something that I also wish for. Alarm for water every 25min, as example. Eat, every 45min. Would be a great feature

    Hi Pedro,

    At this time, currently there is no alert/reminder/alarm feature for nutrition and hydration. This is something that has been requested by other community members and is currently under consideration for development. I have added yours, Roberto, and Steven's upvote to our team.

    As of now, you can add the nearest food and beverage destinations as a Point of Interest (POI) on your routes and it should be able to show you the directions which will be updated in the cue sheet of the TBT instructions. Please find the below two articles form more information:

    Karoo 2 - Drop Pin and Navigating to POIs

    You can also use the Karoo 2 - Auto-Lap feature based on the time interval (you can set the value as per your requirement) to take a break during the ride.

    I hope the workaround helps for now and looking forward to see this feature soon on Karoo 2.

    Hi, let me say, "Under consideration for developing"? Sory but this is... Unbeliveble and some that is requested from the Karoo1. Can say what the next updates that Hammerhead is working. This is a BASIC to a Cycling GPS. Work on it and let the community happy. Keep Pedaling.

    Nothing yet and is this a simple basic time alarm.

    I change my biking GPSs that i ride from the first ones Garmins, for the years in competition it they was a great units ones better than others but all the time they make they job. I change to K2 more to give an opportunity, and a problem that it was resolved late from Garmin. without one of my unity it was problems all time and they wait until lost warranty to say that its not in warranty when they know that it was a global problem in a lot of GPS. My connections on Garmin send-me a new unity days later than i buy the K2 and of course that i send back the new Garmin back with a beautiful letter that no ones lite to read. 

    About Hammerhead the problems that i have it was every time resolved and quick. 

    But thinks change and with nothing new happens about time alert or other new futures to K2. Probably on K3 but probably i moved back to Garmins. In Garmins when the upgrades happens its because the community say in social medias / forums  what are the problems in the moments, and they try to resolv this on the next one. is working go to the next major new feature or problem or try upgrading the last old feature that need a new version.

    All us know that K2 is not the better GPS unity that most of the people on the community write or say on medias, its more about a community that are growing think that the big problems in the K2 will be resolved on the next 15 days upgrade release.

    Can 3rd parties write apps for the Karoo 2 since it is based on Android? There must be hundreds of android timers out there.
