Offline map removed when download is stopped

I am in a foreign country, with a very limited amount of download available. I forgot to download the map in advance, so I create a Hotspot on my phone and use the super expensive data download for downloading the offline map. Unfortunately, 10mb before the end, my hotspot goes down. No problem, I restart the Hotspot. What does Karoo 2 do? Of course, it DELETES the 3.90 out of 4gb map it just downloaded and starts from the beginning. Is it me doing something wrong, or a super basic feature of continuing the download is not available on Karoo?

  Hi Pawel,

  We have an update for you as you had raised this request with us. We fixed the issue that caused offline maps to restart their download from the beginning (instead of resuming from part-way) if the download was interrupted.

  Hi Pawel, thanks for highlighting this to us. We have identified this as a bug and our developers are looking for an immediate fix, as soon as they understand the root-cause.
