Annoying low battery warnings
CompletedIs there a way to dismiss the headunits constant warnings about my powermeter batteries running low? Every 30 seconds or so the Karoo2 opens a red tab that left power is low, then right power, left power, right power, left power, right power and so on. It’ll do that for some time and then suddenly stop, only to start all over again later during the ride or next ride. Swiping the warning tabs doesn’t help because in less than a minute there’ll be a new warning. It’s annoying for three reasons:
- It’s very distracting.
- I can’t do anything about the battery levels during the ride anyway.
- It’s warning me way to early. Checking battery status with the powermeters own app the batteries are very far from low. Furthermore the powermeter is reading just fine and will continue to do so for many weeks on the same set of batteries.
Maybe I’m missing something and there’s a simple solution to this?

Hi All,
We’ve improved the behavior of the “Low Sensor Battery” alerts that appear on Karoo outside of rides.
These alerts will now disappear if you acknowledge them or power down Karoo.
Thank you!

Hi Sven: We are really sorry for the negative experience you had with the Low battery warnings from sensors. We would like to investigate the issue further.
Ideally, the low battery warning will be dismissed in few seconds and you shouldn't be notified frequently mid-ride once you get the low battery warnings for the first time in a particular ride. I have created a support ticket requesting for some additional information to troubleshoot the issue. I request you follow-up on the ticket.
