Hi Shannon, as of now it is not possible. However, I understand your suggestions and I have shared it with the Product team for consideration.

Yes, please! Accidentally moving POI happens a lot, especially on touch devices and if you have many POI on the map. (For example when using pinch to zoom on the phone.)

I think to lock the existing POI on the map, until you switch on the pin button in the toolbar, would help. And lock them again after cancel.

Maybe this could designed to be more obviously a toggle between normal mode and add/edit/move/remove POI.

I'm tired of having to go around positioning the POIs, is it such a complicated thing to do?.... an option to block them!!!!

yet another update without a basic thing resolved.... it's better to delete all the points, than to keep correcting the location.....

HH please add lock/unlock POI in the POI details. It is very easy, really possible. Please believe! You can do it!

Please make it happen, it's really annoying to accidentally move a carefully positioned POI with no possibility to undo it.

Absolutely. TBH, this is the #1 issue on Hammerhead KAROO, and is surely a priority fix. Accidentally moving unlockable POIs is such a pain.

I join the petition, please make them lockable, they move very easily unintentionally and lose their function.

Dear riders, We’re aware of the issue on mobile devices where pins can move when resizing the map with a pinch gesture. At this time, we don’t have a timeline for a fix, but our team is monitoring it for a future update.

As a workaround, we recommend adjusting your pins on a desktop or Laptop where the map resizing doesn’t affect their placement. This can help ensure your pins remain accurate to street addresses.

We understand this can be frustrating, especially when pins are set to precise locations, and we appreciate your patience.

    Hi Hari

This has been requested many, many times, and by many, many people for over 3 years and you still have no idea when, OR IF, it will ever be implemented! So much for prioritising the highest requested changes!!!

Fully agree. For me, POIs are unusable. I've also asked several times for a protection against accidental POI moves, and got the usual answer like above. I think it's a simple issues, and a solution like a special POI edit mode should be no rocket science. I guess the Karoo 2 will be out of support before this will fixed, if ever. Very frustrating.
