Feature request: support for racing / pacing strategy / best bike split
There's one thing that's making me reconsider my Karoo 2 and go back to Garmin/Wahoo, and that's support for real-time pacing during races, eg. distance based workouts eg. Best Bike Split.
For those unfamiliar: "What is Best Bike Split? Our math and physics engine takes your power data, course info, and race day conditions to predict your race performance and create the perfect power plan so you can hit your best bike split."
I've found it to be extremely accurate in modeling an expected time, and it's smart enough to let you put down less watts on descents and more on climbs, and tells you what watts to hit at each spot to average out to your goal time. I believe having this is a big advantage in a race and with SRAM's backing and their huge involvement in racing, not being able to support this is a huge competitive disadvantage for Hammerhead.

Is there any a update on this topic? I've been a long time Karoo 2 fan, I've seen most of my previous gripes resolved in recent updates. I'm just realizing this distance based workout functionality is not available in the karoo and I really want to figure out a way to use a BBS pacing plan in my computer for my upcoming races. I have to imagine that integrating this is a pretty basic software update given the extensive structured workout integration they have already put in place.

... that was why I switched back to wahoo and some friends are too garmin, even the smaller garmin devices have it. In the end it works be enough to read the file from bestbikesplit correctly, it's a .fit file (sent one to the support years ago), no need to build an api.
Imo they will never do it and the karoo is not that much better than others for the price tag to live without it
