It started a few updates ago. You get back on the route but the navigation insists on staying on re-route. I put in support question and was told they have a fix and that next update will solve the problem. Well, it is next update and same thing today. Really making navigation almost unusable, every slight deviation creates a re-route that doesn't go away

Hi Tsachi, It was planned to go out in yesterday's release, but we found more ways to improve this re-routing and re-join algorithm. All the fixes and enhancement are tied to a single change in logic, and hence it was held for the next release until our testing efforts are finalized. As of now, we expect it to be release in the next update, but if we find something new to fix or improve - the release will be pushed further. It's a part of the iterative development.

So in the meantime, while it's broken, can we have the much requested OFF button then?

Apparently not... We carry on inflicted with an unusable function because mummy thinks we should.

Please HH - get a grip and listen to your users (customers). Remove the rerouting feature until it actually works correctly - or at least allow those for whom it either doesn't work or they just plain don't want it to TURN IT OFF!

I didn't realise I was joining a beta testing program... with a company which appears incapable of the simplest rule - don't sell it until it works.

I'm sorry, but this constant "it will be better in the next update" and then it isn't is becoming tiresome. The bad press must be doing your business harm - do yourselves and us a favour.

Oh yes, and the same will be said in December. I am asking HH for the possibility of turning off this function and not deceiving us that maybe it will be better when HH corrects it.

You just completely contradicted yourself here. I am well aware of iterative development and scrum methods. You don't hold on improvement just because you found other ways to improve. Furthermore, I would say that broken navigation is critical bug that gets higher priority of nice to have color chevrons or auto switch to map. This started happening with a recent update, so can easily be reversed, except new features seem to be higher priority than basic functionality.

Let's imagine a scenario: Chris Froome is riding a race with his favorite Karoo unit. He swerves to avoid a crash in front of him, but now his head unit recalculated the route and he can't see his upcoming climb.

What a BLESS it would be, if we could just TURN OFF REROUTING

Sadly, it's still not fixed after latest update. When re-routing is activated it will ignore re-join if red route is over yellow one. In my opinion "red" route should never overlaps "yellow" original route - it doesn't make sense.

I'm pretty sure it worked a lot better when I initially bought the Karoo, then it broke somewhere around Spring 2022 and it started to be annoying not helpful. Before that I think I just ignored it.

I can confirm that the latest update seemingly did nothing to fix the routing issues. Not sure what this update did, but it still routes to a random spot WAY WAY further down the route instead of simply back to the intended route.
