Karoo OS - Elevation Calibration

You can calibrate the current Elevation on your Karoo using Auto or Manual Calibration. 
You will reset your Barometer base value by manually inputting your current elevation.

Here are the steps to update your Elevation Calibration:

• On the Home screen, click on the "Apps" button.
  
• Click on the "Settings" app.
• Scroll down and select "Elevation Calibration".

Click on "Calibrate Now" to do an Auto-calibration.
"Auto" gets the value, via an internet connection and your current location.

To. do a Manual Calibration, scroll down and Select "Manual".
Then, tap on "Input Elevation".
Enter the Elevation manually. This value will now be saved.
A GPS lock/fix is necessary to save the elevation numbers

Note: The Barometer works based on the atmospheric pressure in the air to compute your elevation. The elevation recorded this way may be affected by weather as pressure varies throughout the day.
