To have your rides uploaded from the Karoo to the Dashboard automatically, you have to log in to your Hammerhead account on Karoo.
Here are the steps to log in to your Hammerhead account directly on Karoo:
- On the Home screen, click on the "Apps" button.
- Click on the "Settings" app.
- Select "Hammerhead Account".
- Click on "EMAIL SIGN IN"
- Fill in the Email and Password for your Hammerhead Account.
- Tap on the ✓ icon.
- You are now logged in to your Hammerhead Account on your Karoo.
You can also log in by scanning a QR code on your Smartphone:
- On your Karoo, Click on "QR SIGN IN"
- Scan the QR code on your smartphone.
- Fill in the Email and Password for your Hammerhead Account.
- Verify and Approve the Karoo device.
- On your Karoo, Click on "Done".
Note: If you had already signed into a Hammerhead Account on your Karoo,
you will see the below screen as a final step in this login process.
You can choose between two options.
Either, SYNC DATA TO ACCOUNT
or, DELETE DATA ON DEVICE
Note: Sign-in security tokens on the device expire after 60 days. If your device stops syncing with the Dashboard, it may be necessary to sign back in or refresh the token by signing out and then signing back in on the device.
