Karoo OS - Audio Alerts

The Audio Alerts on your Karoo can be configured to your preferences on each Profile. By default, all Audio Alerts will be toggled On.

Open the Profile you want to customize the Audio Alerts settings for.
Turn "ON" Audio Alerts.

While Karoo does not have volume control, we understand that riders have different needs when it comes to the sound experience on the bike. The new solution provides riders with flexibility to control the audio experience on Karoo. 

In addition to updating the tones for existing sound events, we have created new tones for additional sound events to better differentiate between the different Audio Alerts.

Riders can toggle between the “New” Audio Alerts or go back to
the “Old” Audio Alerts if they prefer those over the new tones. 
You can make this change under Settings -> Audio Alerts. 

A full list of Audio Alerts on Karoo:

• Turn By Turn: Hear TBT alerts in ride.
• Workouts: Hear interval alerts in ride.
• Radar: Hear vehicle approaching, and clear alerts in ride.
• Strava Live Segments: Hear segment approaching and segment complete alerts in ride.
• Phone: Hear phone notification alerts in ride.
• EBike: Hear alerts when assist mode changes in ride.

You can quickly toggle Audio Alerts ON or OFF from the Control Center.
