Weirdness with Freedompop SIM?
Wondering if anyone else has experienced weirdness with a Freedompop plan. Up until recently, the 25 MB was more than enough for my data needs. I usually ride around 12-15 hours/week. In my last billing cycle, I was pushed into their paid plan (without my consent--I would have preferred just to lose connectivity, which I thought was the result when the free plan ran out of data).
At first I thought this might be a change in how the Karoo 2 reports data. However, I am seeing zero data available for this billing cycle, even though I've only ridden 6 hours or so total, and didn't actually see cell connectivity while riding.
There is also a weirdness about cell connectivity when I turn on a program (eg HR+power), so there may be an issue on the Hammerhead side as well as on the freedompop side. I have contacted freedompop with no response yet; Hammerhead wants to see what's happening with freedompop.
