ANT+ sensors dropped during ride
AnsweredDuring today's ride, all ANT+ sensors were dropped and could never picked up.
I tried to turn off and on ANT+, disabled and enabled each sensors, and also tried to repair sensors, but none of it worked.
So I had to reboot the unit then it fixed the problem.
Sensors I connected were Heart Rate sensor, power meter, and Garmin Varia.
Here is link of FIT file if it helps;

Hi Juhan, We are sorry to hear about the concern with the sensors dropouts. We understand this could be very annoying. @Nicholas has mentioned, the team was aware of this issue and has already found a solution to the problem. The software update should be rolled out soon, which should fix the sensors dropout problem.
Even after the software update if the issue persists, kindly send us an email and we will be happy to look into the concern deeper.

I experienced the same issue only with the Garmin HR monitor. All other sensors are working fine. Was this issue solved with the recent software update in Feb? If yes, it might still persist - at least on my K2. Are there any other solutions than a hard reser of the K2?
Thanks in advance. -
I don't think it fixed everything. I'm still getting dropped sensors. Out of the 4 rides I've done with my K2 only 1 didn't have an issue. Today everything was fine for 2 hours and then heartrate, cadence, power all stopped. It's unfortunate as I bought a power meter and I'm not able to use it.
I'm not going to stop mid-ride to play around with my tech either. I'm not sure what to do, I have another computer I could use but I really want this one to work!

Reporting same issues - in my case it's the power meters. The Karoo 2 is NOT liking periods with zero cadence/power, like descending or stopping at a red light for more than 30 seconds. It will not re-link the sensor - it's noticeable because the field goes blank instead of showing a zero.
Incidentally, it also did not like a pretty hard sprint on my ride today - power reading was blank after about 10 seconds sprinting hard out of the saddle, and noticed that the power and cadence fields were blank after about 25/30 seconds holding that. The file has a period of 6 seconds with exactly the same power (869 W, after a peak of 1200+). It did the same with heart rate for the sprint, but did not lose HR data during the 30s or so descent.This was with a Quarq Riken, but last week I had a similar drop in power/cadence with a P2Max power meter. If I was trying to guess my impression is that the Karoo 2 is trying to be too smart saving energy when it perceives certain power ranges that it's not handling properly and opts to disregard the power source. Incidentally this happened as well with the Karoo 1 a few times, but eventually a "good" firmware update came up and I remember being a bit hesitant to update from that one when everything finally was good.
I did manage to reestablish a link by turning off and on the sensors in the drop down menu, but it's really annoying.
