Karoo 2 Screen Sleep

Can anyone tell me how to turn off the screen on the Karoo 2, while still having the activity recording? I.e. not turning the device off, but rather just the screen. On the Karoo 1 I think you just had to tap power button, but now that’s “pause.”

  Press buttons B + D (bottom left and right) simultaneously. This will sleep the screen.

  Update for 1.257.1131

  B+D now opens the drawer (same as swiping up), so the above instructions are no longer correct. Screen sleep/off is accessed in the Control Center, which is A+C or swipe down, then switch to the next screen & choosing "Screen off"

  Please bring back the "screen off" shortcut with a button combination.

  Fiddling around in the swipe-down menu is dangerous and no fun while riding :)

  I agree, please bring back a possibility to switch off the screen with a physical button. I changed to Karoo 2 from the Karoo 1 two weeks ago and am already missing it / am annoyed that it is so comlicated.

  I also miss it when stopping for a snack to save battery those 10 minutes of stopping, and not having to completely turn off the GPS. More then the minute for it to turn on and pick up sensors again, etc... which is not immediate. Lowering the curtain with 2 buttons running seems very impractical to me.
