When sessioning local downhill trails I lose connectivity with the cadence sensor which is understandable as it switches itself off, but when I start pedaling again, the Karoo2 doesn't pick up the sensor and I have to disconnect all sensors, wait a couple of minutes and then enable sensors again before it will pick up the sensor. Is this usual behavior? Is there any way to stop this happening (apart from pedaling more)?

  Hi Stephen, that's not a normal behavior and it should re-connect itself. Do you have other cadence sensors paired on the bike too?

  Hi Ali,

  I only have 1 cadence sensor connected. I do have a speed sensor, but that's connected via bluetooth rather than ANT+ which is what the cadence sensor uses. They are both Wahoo and the Karoo 1 did get confused until I changed the speed sensor to BT, but I haven't connected the speed sensor to ANT+ on the K2.

  Stephen, would you mind removing the speed sensors and see if the cadence works or now?

  I have the same problem with my SRM but 4iiii works. The Karoo shows only Power no Cadence. Last year it works fine. After the last Update the sensors didn't connect and i decided to delete all of them. But nothing, only a restart connected the sensors.

  Hi,

  I removed the speed sensor so only had the cadence sensor, and I still had the same issue so it's not confusion between speed and cadence sensors.

  Thanks for trying Steven. I see that it has been raised as a known issue and there are plans on minor improvements planned in upcoming and next release..
