Audio alert distortion.

Hi, I have problem with audio alerts on my Karoo 2. I just bought it in EU distribution. Problem is that in some high pitch alerts are very distorted. At first I thought it is hardware fault, but I replace device for second one and it had same distorted alerts. It's annoing! Audio alerts it's main feature thanks to which I decided to buy Karoo 2. In my opinion, the pitch of the sounds should be changed. Perhaps the actual ones are beyond the range of the piezo operating frequency?

  Hi Krzysiek - We do have a plan to improve the scratchiness through a software update. At this point, we will look for reports from other riders in order to prioritise this request ahead of other planned updates.

  If it can be helpful I have serial number of the device which I send back for replacement, so You can just test it on Your hand and check for solution. 

  And one more thing, most scratched is alert from Varia Radar.

  In my case the audio alerts are not really distorted, but the pitch of the alert is really high.

  This makes the alerts at least very annoying.

  My Karoo 2 do not have any distorted sound.
  A clean and distinguished sound.

  My only wish is that I could decrease the sound a little bit as I feel it is a little loud and I do not wish to have it in mute mode. Would be glad if HH could introduce a slider for setting the alert sound at your own preferred level?
