Garmin Vector 3

I was able to pair my Garmin Vector 3 pedals with my Karoo 2 via ANT+. Karoo detects it as a power meter and is able to show power, cadence and R/L balance, but not torque effectiveness or pedal smoothness. I have paired a Stages Dual crank with the Karoo 2 and get all of the metrics. Why doesn’t torque effectiveness or pedal smoothness show up for the Vectors?

  At this time, we suspect it to be a known issue and we would like to investigate further into it.

  If you open a file recorded with Karoo 2 with Garmin Connect, can you see other data from Vector 3, such as PCO or Power Phase?

  Is this still an issue? 

  I think that PCO and power phase aren't available except if you are using garmin units, But for left/right balance and accurately calibrating, is this still an issue for Karoo2?

  Hi!

  Has this been resolved? Can Karoo 2 access all functionality of Garmin Vector 3 power meter pedals?

  Hi Nick,

  The Karoo 2 does not support Cycling dynamics. This is certainly a valuable feature set to have on the unit.  However, if you are looking for Pedal Power Balance, Pedal Smoothness, or Torque Effectiveness then you can certainly read this information on the unit and the FIT files.
