Lost ride after long pause

Hi - this happened 2 days in a row...I lost my ride history after a coffee break. I allowed the device to auto-pause. The metrics are still intact before the coffee break. When I picked up the bike and started riding, my distance returned to zero and no ride history was logged. Does anyone else encounter this issue? And what am i doing wrong? How do i fix this?

  As Michiel has already pointed out, we are aware of this issue that is impacting some rides. I am sorry you have experienced it twice! It is a high-priority issue!
