    @ James: Sorry to hear about the negative experience that you have come across. We would like to investigate the issue further. For this, I have created a support ticket requesting the GPX file of the Route and a couple of screenshots showcasing the issue. I request you follow up on the ticket.

    Update - this also happened to me today. Didn't manage to get a screenshot (it was snowing and I was lost and cold and annoyed) but can offer some thoughts and troubleshooting that I tried.

    Karoo had internet connection via my phone's hotspot the whole time.

    1. Syncing the route with the dashboard again didn't work.

    2. Removing the route and adding it again didn't work.

    3. Copying the route in RideWithGPS and syncing it to the Karoo via the dashboard didn't work.

    4. Force-stopping the Routes app and clearing its data didn't work.

    5. Restarting the device did work (it generates directions correctly for the copied route and a quick check suggested that the original had updated.

    Always add suffix ad each change at route and you will not have problems. Example:

     

    Original                   originalsouth

    First change            originasouth1

    Second change       originalsouth2

    Third change           original south3

     

     

    And than delete all previos

    Indeed, that's similar to how I do it as well.

    I duplicate the route, choose a new name (or simply add a suffix) and edit the route. This prevents any route / reroute problems.

    I went back to the route on my Karoo to get some screenshots and couldn't reproduce the issue. I think given time the route has fully updated in some way. It definitely happened though! Will be aware of the issue next time so won't save directly over a previous route in future.
