    Hey Jaesung,

I am sorry to hear about your mount! We would love to help you here, please do send us images of the mount on support@hammerhead.io so we can understand the failure of the mount. We would follow up with you accordingly :)

Today mine broke as well (after a year or riding a road bike) - rode over a tarmac bump which was quite hard and it just broke in half. I've sent a message to support, let's see.

There is a great video of the mount testing in the blogs from  a few years back

One that everyone should View before they configure a tether.

Mounts are a failure point on almost all bike computers.

The original Garmin quarter turn mount was designed for a watch, not something with the mass of a bike computer.

Consider a quad lock and make sure you have a good tether at all times.

    Gimme another Garmin, Barman.
And then he fell off of his stool.
I'll put the tether on me nethers,
So when it breaks, I'll feel the pull.
Oh I feel a little fragile, an I canna take the bounce,
After the road gave way beneath me,
When I tried to save an ounce.

    It's a slippery little bugger
and goes flying in the air,
    Like it was some avionic,
that forgot no plane was there.
It's that lack of holding power that comes from the quarter twist
And has left me there, just standing, feeling more than little pissed.

I've got a replacement from support then.

But you know what, 10 months since and it cracked once more. In similar circumstances with similar results - luckily head unit survived, again. I fear that a construction issue is at work and don't know what to do. Even if I get a replacement, there will be a chance that it cracks again.
