is there a way of accessing the sensors menu to troubleshoot issues mid-ride?
AnsweredThis post is related to this pre-existing post on showing sensor status.
On a couple of my rides recently I've set off only to realise that my heart rate monitor isn't connected to my Karoo 2. I have a Stages dual power crank as well and that has always been transmitting successfully. Both are set up to transmit over ANT+.
Is there a way of getting out of ride mode and troubleshooting sensor issues whilst the ride is still recording e.g. while I'm stopped on the side of the road? I'm not always super rigorous, checking all sensors are connected etc., immediately before I hit the 'start record' button. If there isn't a way of dealing with this mid-ride though then maybe I will have to be going forward...?
Thanks

Since the last update you should be able to detect sensor issues, as the applicable data fields will show a red "Searching" value in case the sensor can't be found.
I haven't experienced this yet mid-ride, this is what my K2 shows before the start of the ride if my Cadence sensor is not in range yet.

Yes, you can hold down button D (bottom right) mid-ride to go back to the home screen and then into Sensors to figure out what's up with your sensors. Your ride will continue to record in the background.
Once you've sorted out your sensors, you can then press button D again (which will have a bike icon on it) to return to your ride.
WARNING: Do not hold down button D for too long otherwise you will cause the unit to reboot. This button press really ought to be combined with another long button press to prevent accidental reboots.
