Reconnecting Sensors
AnsweredI have had multiple occasions where I was starting my ride and my sensors (Garmin Cadence and Speed) would not connect. I swiped down from the top, disabled the sensors and re-enabled them and they still did not connect.
I was already on the ride and had entered my route, so I did not want to restart my Karoo 2 (latest software).
What is the best way in this case to get the sensors to reconnect? Is the only way to restart the Karoo?

Hey Michael,
You can long hold button D for 2-3 seconds when you are mid-ride to come back to your Main screen, You can then proceed to the Sensors App and attempt to reconnect the sensors from the sensors list :)
Here is an article that talks about editing an ongoing ride.

Hi Michael, I have had a similar problem with my Garmin cadence sensor and my Garmin heart rate monitor. The only way I have found to fix this problem after I have started a ride is to a long press the D button, go into settings then into sensors. I then unpair, then re-pair the problem sensor. Then, I navigate back to my ride screen. This works well as a corrective action, but it is not a permanent fix as I continue to have chronic problems with both the cadence and the heart rate sensors not pairing consistently. I just submitted a support request and hoping to get this resolved quickly. It’s certainly a big, big hassle after you’ve started a ride!
