On one of my previous rides I've noticed a quick drop of the battery %. Normally it uses 6-7% per hour.

This time it startet on 43%, going to 25% in about 30 min. Then after another 10 min going to 10%. By then I switched off the screen, just peeking at it once and a while. It rapidly went to 1%, were it stayed for 15 min, making it possible to complete the ride.

I didn't observe this behaviour in previous FW.

  Hey All,

  Thank you for your observations here! We always ensure to thoroughly test out every software update for battery performance with our test groups and internally before we roll it out to the General Audience, As Benno suggested I would urge you to create a new profile and observe if the battery drain still sits at a higher end. 

  Please do drop us a ticket with your FIT file if you continue to see a higher drain, We would definitely help you out further! :)

  Still didn't get better after several updates and also some suggestions taken from the support team and forum.

  This is what I've tried so far

  1. Battery calibration (total drain, hard reset, etc)
  2. New profile and erasing others

  From my last ride it all starts nice:
  - Battery 96% - 78% in 3h00m

  Then, a high battery consumption:
  - Battery 78% - 20% in 1h30m !!!!

  Then it stabilized itself again:
  - Battery 20% - 10% in 1h45m

  This middle section with high battery consumption freaked me out a bit, since I was on unknown off road tracks on my MTB. I wasn't sure if I would come to my starting point again. But it did in the end.

  After that I left the device on. It took another 2h to go totally flat (10% - 0%). So in total approx. 8h.
  Still not great. I have the screen brightness to 25% and only a HRM connected.

  Please Support Team, analyze this issue a.s.a.p. There are several users having this problem!
