    Hello Benno,

    Thank you for your comment. I indeed also tried a factory reset via the Karoo menu, but I have meanwhile found out that the problem is a different one: the battery was empty! This may of course sound as if it was my own stupid fault, but the battery had been fully charged the day before and I had done only one ride of approx. 5 hours.

    First of all, I then charged the battery to full: this took approx. 6 hours! Then I did another ride today and I noticed that the battery was down to 56% after just two hours and twenty minutes. So it looks as if one battery charge now lasts only 5 hours or so, which makes the device pretty useless. I am not certain whether this problem is related to a software update, all I know is that previously one battery charge allowed for 10-12 hours.

    Anyone else having this problem?

    Thanks again for your comment. I did exactly as described by you (battery down to zero, powering on as many times as possible, then a full recharge, which indeed took several hours). I did a tour the following day (= today) and, at first, I thought things were indeed much better. The device used up approx. 10-11% after one hour ride, so I was hoping to get something like 9 or 10 hours. Unfortunately, the percentage went down far more quickly as the ride continued: I lost 30% or so the second hour and 40% the third hour. In the end I had to save my ride after 3,5 hours as the battery was then going down from 15 to 3% within minutes and I only just managed to save the ride. Now, this clearly is not normal behaviour and I am wondering what to do next. Any ideas?

    I do not suppose that going over the same procedure again would significantly improve things.
