I also encountered a problem where the climber tab didn’t dismiss itself yesterday with navigation on. Mine didn’t have issues with rerouting but the climber tab was left behind showing an inactive graph with no data.

CLIMBER appeared today. Is there a shortcut button to hide the graph?

I have this too and it was very annoying, the same thing. The feature is a great idea and it was requested for so long, but its not tested very good before release? Because when you are testing software features, you should test things like this

Sorry for the experience you had with the new CLIMBER feature. I have created a support ticket for your issue - you should have received an email notification to let you know that ticket has been opened. One of our Customer Experience team members will be reaching out to you for more information - we will need to get your GPX route file, FIT file from the activity, and the location of the hill where you experienced it. That way, we can investigate further.

Vincent and Aline, it appears you both had some issues as well. We can also take a look at yours - please submit a ticket and include details about what you experienced - please include the same information I requested from Nigel - the GPX route file, the FIT file from the activity, and the location of the hill where you experienced this.

    Thanks all!

Will sort the fit file and thanks for the raised ticket but surely its a bug if you deter of hill climb it should finish just like a strava kom not freeze and off route navigation locks into getting you back to where you detoured rather than rerouting.

    Thanks, Nigel!

We can use your report and files to verify an issue so that we can create a trouble ticket if there is a bug. If it is a bug, we will be able to mock your ride and location to reproduce that and determine the factors that are at play and causing that behavior. Our testing groups have been using CLIMBER for 1-2 weeks and I am not aware of any widespread issues of this nature - this will help us narrow down the problem so that it can be addressed. Thanks for your help in running that down!

    Just to chip in,

I noticed that the climber wasn't working correctly on some of the hills in the new forest. The elevation profile would be shortend, or the unit ran through the entire hill profile before i reached half way up the hill.
